it is bent so perimeter of semi circle is equal to perimeter of square

.. so perimeter of semi circle that is circumference=πr =22/7×28= 88 cm

perimeter of square=88cm 4×side = 88

side =88÷4=22 cm

Answer:

22cm

Step-by-step explanation:

radius of hemisphere = 28cm

perimeter of the hemisphere = πr

= (22/7)×28

= (22×4)

= ( 88 )cm

now perimeter of the square = perimeter of the same hemisphere. ( as the wire used to form them has the same length)

so , let the side of square be = x

we know , 4x = perimeter of square

=>x=88/4

=>x=22cm

NOTE:- hemisphere is half of a circle.

So, perimeter of hemisphere=perimeter of circle/2

= 2πr/2

= πr.

hope it helped .

thanks !!
