Step-by-step explanation:

Side of a square= 20 cm

perimeter of a square =4× side= 4×20=80cm

Same wire is rebent into rectangle. The total length of wire remains unchanged

Perimeter of a rectangle= 80 cm

Perimeter of a rectangle=2(l+b)

80 =2(25+b)

80 =50+2b

80-50 = 2b

30 =2b

b =30/2=15 cm

Hence, The area of a square= side× side

=20×20

=400cm²

The area of a rectangle =l×b

= 25×15

= 375cm²

Hence,The square encloses more area than the rectangle
