Ton find : radius of circle and area of circle formed .

Given : perimeter of  rectangle wire = 132\ cm

Solution :

  • As per the given data we know that perimeter of  rectangle wire is 132\ cm .
  • We have to find radius of circle and area of circle formed by straightening rectangular wire .
  • As per the given data we have ,

       Circumference of circle = Perimeter of circle

         2\pi r = 132 \ cm \\2\times 3.14\times r = 132 \\r = \frac{132}{6.28} \\r = 21.01 \ cm

  • Area of circle = \pi r^{2}

                               = 3.14\times (21.01 )^{2}  \\= 65.9714\ cm ^{2}

Hence , radius of circle is 21.01\ cm and area of circle is 65.9714 \ cm ^{2} .
