Answer:

8cm, Rectangle encloses more area

Step-by-step explanation:

Given- length of wire in rectangular shape=10cm

Breadth of the wire in rectangular shape =22cm

Therefore total length of th wire=(10+22)cm

=32cm

Now the wire is vent in the shape of square so it should have 4lfour equal sides. In other words we can say that the total length of the wire is divided in 4 parts.

Therefore length of the sidenof the square will be= 32cm/4 = 8cm

Therefore each side of the square will be of 8cm.

Now area of rectangle= length×breadth= 10cm×22cm = 220cm²

Therefore rectangle encloses area of 220cm²

Now area enclosed by square=side² = (8cm)² = 64cm²

Therefore area encloses by square=64cm²

So we can say that rectangle will enclose more area than square.

Answer:

=>Measure of one side of square=16 cm

=>Square has more area.

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of rectangle= 10 cm

Breadth of rectangle= 22 cm

:. Perimeter of rectangle= 2(l+b)

                                        = 2 (10+22)

                                        = 2 x 32= 64 cm

PERIMETER OF RECTANGLE = PERIMETER OF SQUARE

Perimeter of square= 4 x side

ATQ (according to question):

4 x side= 64 cm

side= 64/4

side =16 cm

Area of rect.= l x b

                    = 10 x 22

                    = 220 cm^{2}

Area of sq.= s x s

                 = 16 x 16

                 = 256 cm^{2}

:. Square has more area.
