Answer :-

The measure of each side of square is 25cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

To Find :-

  • The side of square [after bending].

Solution

Given that,

A wire is in the shape of rectangle whose,

  • Length = 30cm
  • Breadth = 20cm.

∴ The perimeter of rectangle :-

We know,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)

Where,

→ l = Length

→ b = Breadth

Therefore,

2(l + b)

2(30 + 20)

2(50)

100cm

Also given, The same wire is re-bent in the shape of square.

∴ Perimeter of Rectangle = Perimeter of square.

Now, According the question,

  • Side of square :-

We know,

Perimeter of square = 4 × side.

A.T.Q

4 × side = Perimeter

4 × side = 100

side = 100/4

side = 25cm.

Hence, The side of square is 25cm.

Formulas used:-

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 (length + breadth)

Perimeter of square = 4 × side.
