A wire is in the shape of a rectangle. Its length is 32cm and breadth is 18 cm. If the same wire is rebent in the shape of a square, what will be the measure of each side. Also find which shape encloses more area?

Area of rectangle = l x b

= 32 cm x 18 cm

= 576 cm²

So,

As per question ,

Area of rec = area of square,

than,

Area of square = 576 cm²

length of square = A

= 576cm²

= 24 ² cm²

= 24 cm

Hence,

Each side of square is 24cm .
