Perimeter of the rectangle = Perimeter of square
2(l+b) = 4 a
124 = 4a
a= 31 cm

Side of square = 31 cm

Area of rectangle = 40*22
= 880 cm sq.
Area of square = 31 *31
= 961 cm sq.

Area of the square will be more than Area of rectangle

Hope it help you

heyy frnd!!!

here's ur answer

length=40cm

breadth=22cm

perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(40+22)

=2×62

=124cm

area=l×b

=40×22

=880cm^2

perimeter of rectangle=perimeter of square

perimeter of square=124cm

=124/4

=31cm

area=side×side

=31×31

=961cm^2

square encloses more area by=961-880=81cm

hope this helps....
