2x(40+22)cm=124cm

area of the rectangle=40cmx22cm=880cm2

the length of the wire=perimeter of the square=124cm

then one side of the square=124/4=31cm

the area of the square=31x31=961cm2

the square encloses 81 cm2 more area form the rectangle.
