Answer:

length of wire=40 cm

breadth of wire=22 cm

area of rectangle=length multiply by breadth

40 mutiplied by 22

880 sq.cm

length of wire=40 cm

breadth of wire=22 cm

perimeter=2(l+b)

=2(40+22)

=2(62)

=124 cm

the wire is rebebt

perimeter of square=area of square

perimeter of square=124 cm

side of square=124 divided by 4

=31 cm

area of square=side multiplied by side

=31 multiply by 31

=961 sq.cm

961 sq.cm>880 sq.cm

area of square is >area of rectangle

Answer:

31 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of reactangle = 2( 40cm plus 22cm )

perimeter of reactangle = 2 multipy 62 = 124 cm

measure of each side of square is same wire is present on the shape of square = 124 divide by 4 = 31 cm

so, each side of square is 31 cm

which shape enclose more area = area of rectangle

= 40 multipy by 22

= 880 cm

then, area of square = side multiply side

= 31 multiply 31

= 961 cm

so , square enclose more area
