A wire is in the shape of a rectangle. its length is 40 CM and breath is 22cm . find the same wire is rebent in the shape of a square, what will be the measure of each side? Also, find which shape enclosed more area​

For rectangle

l = 40cm

b = 22cm

.°. Perimeter

= 2(l+b)

= 2(40+22)

= 2 × 62

= 124 cm

And, Area = l × b = 40 × 22 = 880 cm²

For square

Square's perimeter = Rectangle's perimeter

=> 4a = 124

.°. a = 31 cm

.°. Area = 31 × 31 = 961 cm²

Therefore

Square enclosed more area.
