answer is 12.5 as perimeter(rectangle)=
2(L+B)=2(16+9)
50
let the side of square be x,
& perimeter (square)=
4×S= 4×x=50
x=50÷4=12.5cm
so 12.5 will be the answer

Mahak27: pls mark it as brainliest

length of rectangle.= 16 cm
breath of rectangle =9 cm
so..it is rebent in shape of square ...so length of wire remains same...I.e
perimeter of rectangle and perimeter of square remains same...
perimeter of rectangle=2 (l+b)
=2(16+9)
=50cm
let the side of square be a
perimeter of square = 4×a
according to question....
4×a =50
a=50/4
a=12.5 cm...ans......
