❥answer

❥96cm {}^{2}

❥formula used

l \: of \: the \: wire \:  = 4 \times side

perimiture \: of \: rectengle = 2(l + b)

❥solusion

⟼side of the square = 10cm

length of the wire= perimeter of the square

=4*side

=4*10cm

=40cm.

⟼length of the rectangle,l=12cm.

⟼let b the breadth of the rectangle

⟼perimeter of rectangle= length of wire

=40cm.

⟼perimeter of the rectangle=2(l+b)

⟼thus,

⟼40=2(12+b)

⟼or,

⟼40/2=12+b

⟼therefore ,

⟼b=20-12

⟼b=8cm.

⟼the breadth of the rectangle is 8 cm.

⟼area of square=side* side

=10cm*10cm

=100cm

⟼area of rectangle=lenth*breath

=12cm*8cm

=

96cm {}^{2}

answer = 96cm {}^{2}
