10

(C) 8cm

Given :-

  • Square:- Side = 10 cm
  • Rectangle:- Length = 12 cm

To find :-

  • Breadth of rectangle

Here we have to find perimeter of square and then breadth of rectangle,

Therefore, Perimeter of square is ,

Perimeter :- 4 × Side

》4 × 10

》 40 cm

Breadth of rectangle :-

Perimeter = 2 ( l + b )

40 = 2( 12 + b)

》40/2 = 12 + b

》20 = 12 + b

》20 - 12 = b

》b = 8 cm

Square perimeter 4x10 = length of the wire=40cm
Perimeter of rectangle =2(12+b)cm
Given length of wire = rectangular shape perimeter so. 2(12+b)=40cm
12+b=40/2=20
b= 20-12
b= 8
b=8 cm
It’s breadth =8cm
Option c). 8 cm is correct
