 \huge{ \mathbb{ \red{Answer}}}

Side of square : 10 cm (given)

so, perimeter of square : 10 ×4 = 40cm

length of the rectangle: 12cm (given)

let the breadth of the rectangle : b

so, 2(l+b)=perimeter

2(12+b)= 40

24+2b=40

2b=40-24

2b=16

b= 16/2

b= 8cm

Now ,

Area of square : side ×side

=10×10 = 100 cm^2

and ,

Area of rectangle : lenght × breadth

=12×8=96cm^2

=> Difference in area = 100-96= 4cm^2

=> Hence the square encloses more area by 4cm^2
