A wire is in the shape of a square of side 25 cm. If the wire is rebent into a rectangle of length 30 cm,find its breadth. Which encloses more area- the square or the rectangle and by how much?​

perimeter of the square=25×4=100

length of wire=perimeter of square

p=2(l+b)

100=2(30+b)

100=60+2b

100-60=2b

40=2b

b=40/2

b=20

area of square=25×25

=625

area of rectangle = l×b

=30×20

=600

difference between the areas=625-600

=25

area of square is25cm greater than rectangle
