Question :-

A wire is in the shape of a square of side 4 cm which is bent to form a circle what will be the circumference of the circle.

Given :-

☞ A wire is in the shape of square of side 4cm

To find :-

☞ The circumference of the circle when the square is reshaped.

Since it's the same wire being bent in different shapes, the length of the wire won't change.

Hence,

Perimeter of square = Circumference/Perimeter of circle.

Square :-

The perimeter of square ☞ 4 × side

Side ☞ 4cm

Hence, Perimeter = 4 × 4 ☞ 16cm²

Circle :-

As the the perimeter will be the same, the circumference of the circle is 16cm²
