=======================================

A wire is in the shape of a square of side 8cm

area of square = side *side

=>8*8

=>64 cm
²

now this 64cm² is converted into rectangle whose lenght is 10cm

area of rectangle = l *b

we have to find the breadth

lets form an euqatio

=>64 = 10*b

=>b = 64/10

=>b = 6.4 cm

breadth of the rectangle is 6.4 cm

-----------------

since the same area of square is converted into rectange  both have the same area .

that is 64 cm²

hope it helps u..............

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle
Perimeter of square= 4s = 4×8=32cm.
Given length of rectangle=10cm
perimeter of rectangle=2(l + b) = 2(10 + b) = 32
= 20+2b = 32
Breadth= 6 cm
Area of square = 64 cm^2
Area of rectangle = 10 × 6 = 60cm^2
Square encloses more area than rectangle.
Thank you
