Step-by-step explanation:

with the help of the side of the square, find the area= side × side

A= 10×10= 100sq cm

area of square= area of rectangle as both the shapes are made of one wire and thus the area will also equal

area of rectangle= L×B

100 sq cm= 12× B

100÷12= B

8.33 = Breadth

both the figures have same area as both the figures are recent to form the figures.

hope you're satisfied

For square,

Side=10 cm

Perimeter=4a

Perimeter=4×10

Perimeter=40cm

Area=a^2

Area=10^2

Area=100cm^2

Perimeter of square=Perimeter of rectangle

40cm=40cm

For rectangle,

Perimeter=2(l+b)

40=2(12+b)

40/2=12+b

20=12+b

b=20-12

b=8cm

Area=l×b

Area=12×8

Area=96cm^2

Area of square is greater than Area of rectangle by 4cm^2
