hello users ....
solution:-
we know that:
perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
and
perimeter of square = 4a
where,
l and b are the length and breadth of rectangle respectively
and
a is the side of square .
here,
perimeter of rectangle = perimeter of square
=> 4a = 2(l + b)
=> 4a = 2 ×( 40+22)
=> 4a = 2 × 62 = 124
=> a = 31 cm Answer
