Heya!!

After reshaping perimeter of wire i,e Length of wire will remain same.

Perimeter of rectangle/ length of wire = 2 ( 15 + 18 )= 66cm

Now, perimeter of circle will be equal to length of wire

i,e 2πr = 66. WHERE r IS RADIUS OF CIRCLE

r = 10.5cm

AREA OF CIRCLE = π r²

= 346.5cm²

HAVE A NYC TYM

nihil19: but how you get area
Anonymous: Area of circle = 22/7 ( 10.5 )² = 346.5cm²

The wire is in the shape pf rectangle

Length = 18 cm

Breadth = 15 cm

Now the wire is bent in a circle

So,

Perimeter of rectangle = circumference of the circle

2( l+b) = 2πr

2(18+15) = 2πr

2 × 33 = 2πr

66 = 2πr

66 × 7/ 2 × 22 = r

33 × 7 / 2 = r

21/2 = r

10.5 = r

So, the radius of the circle is 10.5 cm.

Area of the circle = πr^2
= 22\2 × 10.5 × 10.5 = 693\2= 346.5 cm^2
