Answer :

›»› The length of the side of a square is 44 cm.

Given :

  • A wire is lopped in the form of a circle of radius is 28 cm. It is re-bent into a square form.

To Find :

  • The length of the side of a square.

Solution :

Wire is lopped in the form of a circle. So,

Length of the wire = Circumference of a circle.

→ Length of the wire = 2πr

→ Length of the wire = 2 * 22/7 * 28

→ Length of the wire = 2 * 22 * 4

→ Length of the wire = 44 * 4

→ Length of the wire = 176 cm

Now,

Perimeter of circumference square = Length of wire

→ 4a = 176

→ a = 176/4

a = 44 cm

Hence, the length of the side of a square is 44 cm.

\huge \purple A \purple N \purple s \purple W \purple e \purple \R :-

Circumference of the circle = 2πr

Circumference of the circle = 2π(28) = 176

Side of the square = 176/4

=> 44 cm

Therefore , the length of the side of the square if 44 cm .
