∴ length of the wire is 88 cm.

length of the rectangle formed = 24 cm

88 = 2 (l + b)
88/2 = 24 + b
b = 44 - 24
b = 20 cm
∴ Area of the rectangle = l x b = 24 x 20 = 480 cm²
