A wire is of length
is bent in the form
of length 264 cm. It is bent into a circle. What is the radius of the circle so obtained. If it is bent in
the form of a square, find the side of the square.​

Answer:

Length of wire is given 264 cm.

When the wire will be bent into a circle,the length of the wire will become the circumference of the circle.

i.e. Circumference of Circe = 264

2πr = 264

(putting π=22/7)

r = 264×7/2×22

r = 42cm.

Now,When wire will be bent into a square,the length of the wire will become the perimeter of the square.

i.e. Perimeter of square = 264

4×Side of square = 264

Side of square = 264/4

Side of square = 66cm.
