Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

Given, perimeter of square is equal to perimeter of rectangle

2(l+b) = 64

l+b = 64/2

20+b = 32

b = 32-20

b = 12

Answer:

240 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

perimeter of the square park = 64 cm

length of the rectangular park = 20cm

and even given indirectly that,

perimeter of the rectangular park = 64 cm

we know that,

perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(20+b) = 64

=40+2b = 64

= 2b = 64-40

= 2b= 24

= b= 12 cm

so now,

area of the rectangle = l*b

= 20*12

= 240 cm^2
