A wire is used to make a square of side 15cm. the same wire is then used to make a rectangle of length 18cm. which of the two has a greater area.

Answer:

the area of square is (side)2 i.e 15*15 = 225cm and the area of rectangle is length* breath by taking length of 18cm and breath of 15cm area shall be 18*15 = 270cm. therefore the rectangle has greater area.
