A wire is used to make square of side 18 cm thr same wire is then used to make a rectangle of side ( length) =22cm.Which has greater area and how much?​

Answer:

Side of square =8 cm

Perimeter of square =32 m

Lenth of rectangle =10 cm

Therefore,

2(l+b)=32

10+b=16

b=6

Therefore, breadth = 6m

Now, area of square = side×side=8×8=64 cm

Area of rectangle = length×breadth=10×6=60 cm  

2

 

Therefore, square encloses more area.
