A wire of 3 ohm resistance and 10 cm length is stretched to 30 cm length. Assuming it has uniform cross section. what will be its new resistance?

case 1
specific resistance =R*a/l=3a/10
case 2
specific resistance is same 3a/10
and new resistance
=specific resistance *length /area
new area will be a/3
as length is made 3times
=3a/10 *30* 3/a
=27ohm
