As we already know, increasing the length of a wire of a certain resistance decreases it's initial resistance.
So if the wire is increased to twice the length then the resistance will decrease by 1/2 times
Therefore the new resistance will be 2.2/2 = 1.1

Resistance increase ehen lenght of wire increase and resistance also increase when thickness decrease because with thickness cross sectional area also decrease there fore right answer is 8.8 ohms
