A wire of length 1 m 14 cm is cut into two pieces. One piece is used to form a square
whose each side is 13.5 cm long. The other piece is bent into a regular hexagon. What is
the length of each side of the hexagon?​

Answer:

perimeter of square=4*13.5 cm

=54 cm

length of wire=100+14=114 cm

remaining length of wire =114-54=60 cm

since all 6sides of regular hexagon are equal

therefore 6a=60 cm

a=side of regular hexagon equals to 10 cm
