Given:  

  • Circumference of circle= Length of wire= 157cm

To find:

  • Diameter of the circle

Solution:

Length of wire= Circumfurence of circle

              157   = 2\pir

              157   = 2 * 3.14 * r

                 r    = (157) / (2*3.14)

Therefore, r   =  25 cm        

Thus, Diameter of circle = 2r =2*25 = 50cm.
