Length of wire is equal to the circumference of the circle.
Therefore, 2πr=308cm
2×22/7×r=308
r=49cm
Therefore, diameter=2×r
=2×49
=98cm.

As the wire is bent to form a circle, hence the circumference is 308 cm.

Assuming the radius of the circle is r, hence
2.(22/7).r = 308 cm  (since, circumference of a circle is 2*pi*r)
or, r = (308*7)/(2*22) cm
or, r = 49 cm

Hence the diameter of the circle is 2r = 2*49 cm = 98 cm
