Step-by-step explanation:

let the radius be r

circumference of circle is equal to 44 cm

2×22÷7×r = 44cm

Hence r is equal to 7 cm

Length of wire = 44 cm

Radius of circle = 2πr = 44

= 2 × 22/7 × r = 44

= 22/7 × r = 44/2

= 22/7 × r = 22

= r = 22 × 7/22

= 7 cm.

Area of circle = πr²

= 22/7 × 7²

= 22/7 × 49

= 22 × 7

= 154 cm².
