a wire of length 4m is stretched so that its length becomes 8m. will its resistance and resistivity change ? And by how much ?

Given,A wire of length L and resistance R is stretched so that its length its doubled

Its resistance also becomes twice of the initial Resistance since resistance is directly proportional to length.

Its resistivity does not change..because resistivity depends only on the nature of the substance but not on the length.
