Answer:

Let the length of rectangle=l

⇒ breadth=l−7

⇒ Perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)= Length of wire

⇒2(l+l−7)=86

⇒2l−7=43

⇒2l=50

⇒l=25cm

⇒ Breadth=18cm.

\green{length \: of \: wire \: = 86 \: cm} \\ \red{let \: us \: assume \: the \: breadth \: i \: x \: cm \: } \\ \red{so \: the \: length \: would \: be \: (x + 6) \: cm} \\ \orange{perimeter \: of \: rectangle \: = 2(l + b) = 2(x + 6 + x)cm } \\ \orange{ = 2(2x + 6) \: = 84cm} \\ \orange{2x + 6 = 42 \: cm } \: \\ \orange{2x = 36 \: cm} \\ \huge \fbox \pink{x = 18 \: cm} \\ breadth \: = x \: cm \: = 18 \: cm\\ so \: length \: = x + 6 \: cm \: \ = 18 + 6 \: = 24 \: cm
