let the breadth be x so length will be 7x
we know that the length of the wire is 86 cm so the perimeter of the rectangle so formed will also be 86cm
now we also know that perimeter of a rectangle= 2[l+b] = 2[ 7x+x]
= 16x=86
x= 86/16= 5.37
so we can conclude by saying that the breadth of the rectangle is 5.37cm and the length is 7x5.37=37.59
