A wire of residence R is bent in form of a closed circle, what is the resistance across a diameter of the circle

As the length of the whole wire will be equally divided in order to form a circle thus now each part has R/2 resistance
Thus both are in parallel
R/2*R/2/R/2+R/2
R^2/4/R
Thus R/4
