As the wire is bent so the lenth of the diameter reduces to half. We know that resistance is directly proportional to length
Therefore, the two resistances 20/2 ohm will be in parallel.
effective resistance,
1/R = 1/10 + 1/10
1/R = 1/5
R = 5ohm
hope it helps!!

Both the semi circles will act as resistance joined in parallel to each other..
Hence,
R = R1R2/(R1+R2)
R1 = R2 = R = 20/2 = 10
R = 5
Hence,
R = R1R2/(R1+R2)
R1 = R2 = R = 20/2 = 10
R = 5
