as the wire is bent in the shape of equilateral triangle , each side will have 24/3 resistance =8 ohm
now, let the triangle be ABC and we need to find current between BC so, lets connect a battery to BC
now, current is in series in BA and AC
so, equivalent resistance =8+8=16ohn
and now, 16ohm resistance is parallel to BC
so, 1/Re=1/16+1/8=1+2/16=3/16
Re=16/3=5.33ohm
