A wire of resistance 4 ohm redrawn by pulling it doubled what is its new resistance?​

So, if wire is cylindrical, stretching its length to twice, will reduce the cross sectional area by half (keeping the volume of wire same in both cases). So new resistance will be '4′ times the original resistance i.e. 16 ohm
