a wire of resistance 5 omaga is bent in the form of closed circle , what is the effective resistance between two points at the ends of any diameter of the circle ​

the effective resistance would be 5 ohm or u say 5 omega at the ends of two points because in a closed circular loop the current flowing is same at any point u chech u will get same amount of current. and if u were not changing the voltage applied u will get same effective resistance.

Resistance of each half circle will be 2.5 ohm

Resistance between two diametrically opposite end, the wire will be in parallel connection.

(1/R) = (1/2.5) +(1/2.5) =2/2.5

⇒R = 2.5/2

⇒R= 1.25 ohm
