Before bending into circle, resistance is:
R= RHO x length / area
5ohm= RHO x length/ area....(1)
after bending;
R'= RHO x length / 2x area
i.e, R'=1/2 X 5 [ substuting (1) ]
Therefore the two resistance will be in parallel. So,
1/R = 1/R' + 1/R'
1/R = 2/5 + 2/5
1/R = 4/5
R = 1.25 OHM
