Hey mate !!!

here is your answer !!!

Heat produce by alloy is => v² /R *t

=> 12 v * 12 v / 25 * 30 *60

hence , H = 10 .37 * 10 ³ j

hence the heat produce in wire maganin is

in 30 minutes =>

10.37 * 10³ joule

hope it helps you dear !!!

thanks

Given:

  • The resistance of the wire = 25 Ω
  • Voltage = 12 V
  • Time = 30 mins

To Find:

  • Total heat produced in 30 mins.

Solution:

The given time is in minutes, we should covert it into secs,

∴ 30 mins = 30 × 60 secs = 1800 secs

The formula to find the heat produced is given by,

H = I^2RT → {equation 1}

Where "I" is current, "R" is the resistance, and "T" is the time.

We need to find the value of current first, as this value is required in equation 1.

WKT, V = IR ⇒ I = V/R

Where "I" is current, "V" is the voltage, and "R" is the resistance.

Substitute the values in the above equation, we get,

⇒ I = 12/25 = 0.48

Now substitute the obtained values in equation 1. We get,

H = (0.48×0.48)×25×1800

H = 10368 J

∴ Total heat produced in 30 mins = 10368 J.
