A wire of resistance of 10 ohm is bent in the form of a closed circle what is the effective resistance between the two points at the ends of any diameter of the circle class 10th please give the answer in a numerical form I mean to say that you have to do the numerical at you have to explain by doing the numerical thanks waiting for your answer

Total resistance = 10Ω
Wire is bent into a circle,
The resistance wire will be divided in two halves and will be in parallel, so resistance of one semicircle is 5Ω.
R1 = 5Ω
R2 = 5Ω
Effective resistance = (R1R2)/R1+R2
Effective resistance = (5×5)/5+5
Effective resistance = 25/10
Effective resistance = 2.5Ω
