A wire of resistivity 10 ohm is bent and in the form of closed circle what is the effecting resistance between two points at the end of any diameter

Hi..

when the wire is made into a circle and when 2 points int he ends of the diameter are considered then the resistor willget split up into 2
resitors each of 5 ohms and these 2 resistors will be in parallel connection
i.e..
    Re=(1/5+1/5)^(-1)      which we will get in substiting the parallel resistence formula 
when we equate it we'll get 2.5 ohm
