A wire when is bent in the form of square encloses an area of 146.41cm2. If this wire is is straightened and then bent to form a circle,what will be the area of the circle so formed?

area of the square is 146.41cm²

therefore, the side of the square is
 \sqrt{146.21} cm {}^{2}
=12.1cm.

now the wire is again bent in the shape of a circle. therefore, the radius of the circle=the side of the square.

therefore, area of circle=πr²=3.14*146.21cm²=459.7274cm²
