vol of sphere = 4÷3πr3

r = 6 cm

4÷3×22÷7×6×6×6=

847.8cm 3

vol of cylinder = πr2h

848(approx)=3.14×0.5×0.5×h

848=0.785h

848÷0.785

1080.25cm = h

Answer:

Length of wire = 1152 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Diameter of Wire, d = 1 cm

           Radius of Sphere, r = 6 cm

To find: Length of Wire

Radius of wire, R = 0.5 cm

Length of wire =  Heigth of cylinder (h)

Sphere is melted and cast into a cylindrical shaped wire.

So, Volume of cylindrical Wire = Volume of Sphere

\pi R^2h=\frac{4}{3}\pi r^3

\frac{22}{7}\times(0.5)^2\times h=\frac{4}{3}\times\frac{22}{7}\times(6)^3

0.25\times h=\frac{4}{3}\times216

0.25\times h=4\times72

0.25\times h=288

h=\frac{288}{0.25}

h = 1152

Therefore, Length of wire = 1152 cm
