The questions have been asked from the poem An Elementary School Classroom in a Slum.

The correct answers are -

1. The word them refers to the children studying in the school.

2. The children have been living in the slum which is dark and gloomy, thus,  the beautiful things of the nature such as sun, love and beauty tempt them.

3. As per the poet, the kids are living life like rats restricted in their constricted holes. As they are the victims of starvation, their figures represent that of skeletons and it seems that their future is grim.

4. Foggy or unclear is their future. The perpetual night of their death is the only certainty in their lives. In other words, they are all enveloped in darkness by their birth, life and death.
