➾ 7x - 5x = 10 - 2

Present age of daughter ➾ x years

Present age of woman ➾ 7x years

NOW ATQ,


$7x + 2 = 5(x + 2)$


$7x + 2 = 5x + 10$


$7x - 5x = 10 - 2$

$2x = 8$


$x = 8 \div 2$


$x = 4$


THEREFORE,


PRESENT AGE OF DAUGHTER=x=4


PRESENT AGE OF WOMAN=7x=7×4=28years
