Step-by-step explanation:

Present age of woman = x years old

Present age of son = y years old

woman is now 30 years older than her son

x=y+30.........(1)

15 years ago

woman was = x-15 years old

son was = y-15 years old

Then

she was twice as old.

x-15=2(y-15)

x-15=2y-30

x=2y-30+15

x=2y-15...........(2)

Put the value of x from (1) to (2)

y+30=2y-15

y-2y=-15-30

-y=-45

y=45

Put the value of y in (1)

x=s+30.........(1)

x=45+30

x=75

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let the son's age = x yrs

woman's age = x+30

15 years ago

son's age = x-15

woman's age = x+30-15 = x+15

2(x-15) = x+15

2x - 30 = x + 15

3x = 45

x = 15

son's age = 15 yrs

woman's age = 45 yrs

monty842311: it's wrong plz avoid x = 45 and woman's age = 45+30=75
