Given: Price of 1 blouse= Ghc 14

           Price of 1 skirt= Ghc 16

           Price of 1 dress= Ghc 25

Price of 2 pairs of pantyhose= Ghc 3

           Price of socks= Ghc 7

Yaa buys 2 skirts, 1 dress, 4 pairs of pantyhose.

There is a discount of 20% on all skirts.

To Find: Amount of money paid by the lady.

Solution:

Discounted price on 1 skirt= 16 - (20% of 16)

= 16 - 3.2

= Ghc 12.8

∴ Price of 2 skirts= Ghc (2× 12.8)

                            = Ghc 25.6

Price of 4 pairs of pantyhose= 2 × (price of 2 pairs of pantyhose)

                                               = 2× 3

                                               = Ghc 6

∴ Total amount paid by the lady= Ghc (25.6 + 25 + 6)

= Ghc 56.6

Answer: The lady pays an amount of Ghc 56.6.
